Product Description

Oct 21st @1815 (6:15pm) -(Former Student Discount Applied)

Wake County Firearms & Training Center   Apex, NC

8 students (4 hours)       Students need to be 18 years of age or older (Exceptions can be made with a parent or guardian attending)

This class is a continuation of CB-1, we will pick up right where we left off.  While the CB-1 class concentrated on the fundamentals: such as sight alignment, proper stock weld,  trigger control, and the like the pace is picked up.  The first 30 minutes is used as a refresher to briefly go over the material covered in CB-1 and allow the students time to get accustomed to running their shotguns in a combat environment.  Once the "range dust" is knocked out of the barrels we then get to work.

Student Required to Bring:

  1. Shotgun
  2. 150-250 rounds of "birdshot" (ANY cheap ammo will do)
  3. 25-50 rounds of buckshot, the size, brand, and length of the ammo you will be relying on for self defense
  4. 25-50 rounds of slugs, once again the shells you will be using in real life
  5. Shooting glasses (we can provide)
  6. Range ears (we can provide)

This is a "lost brass" class.  (Please choose ammunition accordingly)

While we will still be shooting from 3 to 50 yards and utilizing a variety of targets there will be the added challenge of movement.   The student will begin with vertical drills, both forward and backward.  These drills will allow the student to learn to advance or retreat will maintaining a tactical presence and advantage.  The number of targets and the difficulty said targets will gradually be increased until the student can make split second decisions while maintaining acceptable combat accuracy.  Combat accuracy is any shot that will significantly affect a targets ability to present a lethal threat.

The class is kept to (8) eight students with (4) four instructors to ensure each student receives the applicable instruction.  Each student is assessed and then the live fire drills are adjusted to be commensurate with the student's abilities.  This course is exciting, fast paced, and above all...FUN. Upon completion of the course each student will receive a certificate of completion.

  1. Excellent for all skill levels 5 Star Review

I have been shooting rifles for a fairly long time, but have had next to no formal training with handguns. While I do shoot regularly, I don't normally do drills. This class follows a walk, jog, run type of instruction, and with the small class size, and the amount of instructors, everyone will be brought up to speed. There was a night and day difference between how our targets looked, and the speed each individual performed their drills, from the beginning if the class, and at the end. I would gladly take this class again, and still feel that I would be able to improve more in my shooting abilities, and I would advise this class to anyone looking to improve their form, speed, or accuracy.

  2. Highly Recommended 5 Star Review

This class is a must for anyone looking to increase their ability and confidence in handling his/her handgun. The class starts by teaching (reviewing) the essentials: gun/range safety, stance, grip, and sight picture. The rest of the class is spent on the range shooting various types of targets at 3 and 7 yards, some for time and others not. The class structure does a great job of building on your shooting capability from start to finish making your personal improvement over the course of 4 hours very clear. After taking the PC Shooting's CCH and now ACCH, it is clear Roger and his team are highly experienced in both the use and education of firearms for self defense applications. Roger's stand out personality and that of his staff contribute not only to the enjoyment of the class, but instilling the trust you want to have for someone teaching a skill set that could save your life and others. I look forward to taking the TAC classes offered by PC Shooting.

I took rodgers cch class and then have been trying to get in his acch class and im very happy i did. The class taught me some things I didn't know. Im would consider myself a middle level novice shooter and with some of the things that were taught in class. I was able to acquire the target and take the shot with speed and accuracy.

This is the BEST class anyone can take. Roger and his team give you the confidence and skills you need. I went into the class with no experience and after four hours of target practice, received a 96 on the target shooting exam. I will continue taking classes through PC Shooting. Also, Roger has a great big bold personality... Highly recommend this to anyone..

  5. Awesome class! 5 Star Review

I recently bought a 9 mm compact and was a little afraid of it. This class emphasized safety and I became much more comfortable with my weapon. Roger is terrific and Ryan was a tremendous help to me. Would recommend PC to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a handgun.
